Bear Events for 2008 As 'Adorable Bears' I have taken Adorable Bears to Bear Shows in NewZealand ,twice to wonderful Shows in Singapore and to Sydney, Melbourne, The Gold Coast,Harndorff S.A.and many places in between. At this stage I have only one Bear Show booked to attend and that is the wonderful bear event at Woodend , Victoria. So I look forward to catching up with many of the people who have purchased from me over the years, plus introducing my bears to new and old friends at this show.If you are unable to attend.....you can always phone or email me to ask what new bears are in the process of being completed. Thanks to emails I still am able to keep in touch with the many Collectors , worldwide, who have obtained an 'Adorable Bear'. I also thank them for their support and their friendship. I have now been creating Adorable Bears for over fifteen years, in which time I have seen the popularity, or the purchasing of bear go up and down .I still believe that collecting bears will survive into the future ,despite the increasing demands on our dollars and time. The teddy bear has been around for over 100 years. He has survived wars, floods, droughts and economic disasters.He was first given to children as a comfort toy then adults acknowledged they also could use something to lift their spirits in what often seems a cruel and lonely world.In times of distress as well as celebration the teddy bear brings comfort or a smile..hopefully both ,to all ages.
